I started classes today. You never know how much you missed something until you are back at it again XD I missed school so much, now I am back but not like a newbie. I know my way around and people knows me. I am pleased with the teachers I met today they seem very nice and that they know what they are talking about. The microbiology teacher didn’t show up, I didn’t like that at all, it was the first day you know?. Tomorrow I get to see them again but on Wednesday and Thursday I get to meet the rest of my teachers for this semester.

Not bad in my opinion

We had the first parents meeting at school. Pretty much the teacher told us that school is not daycare and to don’t expect the kids to learn everything without the parents’ support. She is a nice teacher and you can see she knows how to do her job. Some kids are still very immature and she asked their parents for extra attention and help. Jared hasn’t been working much at school, Ethan all of the sudden loves to write and participate in class. I am trying to encourage Jared to participate a little bit more, I know he likes to do it since he didn’t have any problems at all in kindergarten. He acts a little bit different lately, I can almost tell that he looks depressed, I am going to make an appointment for him with the peditrician to get checked up, I am worried.

All I want is to sleep. I am not used to waking up early and since kids started school yesterday, I have to do it. Well, waking uo at 7am shouldn’t be bad, but I was getting used to wake up at 9-10am. I know, a waste of wonderful daylight. Next week I start school too and at least Mondays and Tuesdays I will have to wake up an hour earlier. I think I will take advantage now that there is nothing to do at home and take a nap.

Yes we did it, we survived the first day of school, we managed to wake up early and be ready on time. Unfortunately it was raining all morning and I wasn’t able to take pictures of my kids leaving the house and before entering school since we had to rush it or we would get wet.  Charles and I missed them all morning and we were counting the hours left to go pick them up. I even got there 20 minutes earlier, but I was able to see them in their classroom interacting with the other kids and their teacher and it was like if they had always been in that school before, they looked so natural. And I think is very cute to see them wearing uniforms.

First day of elementary school.

I don’t know what to expect from this teacher, she seems very friendly and patient, I talked to her today and she wants to have a meeting with the parents to talk about her teaching method. Ethan and Jared were impressed, they liked the school and the theacher.

Officially the twinadoes are big boys. And all of the sudden I feel that they will grow up in seconds and leave home.

I tried to update wordpress but end up deleting the database and with it all my past posts. I am starting over.
